Eligibility Details-
The candidate should meet the following eligibility criteria for the admission in Delhi Polytechnic courses 2020 -21
Nationality-
Candidate must be either-
- a citizen of India.
- a subject of Nepal
- a subject of Bhutan.
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Education Polytechnic Qualification for Polytechnic Registration 2020
Group-A ( Diploma in Engineering& polytechnic non engineering courses)
- 10th/High school/Secondary examination passed from a recognized board in India with minimum 35% marks.
- The candidates must have studied subjects -Science, Mathematics and English at 10th level.
Group-B ( Diploma in MOP (English) & MOP (HINDI) )
- 10+2/Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary examination passed from a recognized board in India with minimum 35% marks.
- The aggregate % of the best three subjects including English for MOP (Eng.) and Hindi or Sanskrit for MOP (Hindi).
Group-C ( Diploma in Pharmacy)
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics OR Biology (Botany and Zoology), i.e., PCM/PCB as compulsory subjects.
Group-D ( Admission in 2nd Year/ 3rdSem Lateral Entry)
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology i.e., PCM/PCB as compulsory subjects. OR Passed 10+2 Science (with Mathematics as one of the Subjects) OR 10+2 Science with Technical Vocational Subject. OR Passed 10th+ITI(2 years)** with appropriate Trade in that order shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) of appropriate/analogous Programme (As per point no. 5.2). The ITIs/ITCs must be from Institutes located only in Delhi and affiliated to DGE&T/BTE, Delhi.

- Proof of Date of Birth (Secondary School Certificate) (Original and One self-attested Photocopy).
- Certificate and Mark Sheet of the qualifying examination issued by the Board (Original and One self-attested photocopy). In case the original certificate is not awarded at the level of the School, Provisional Certificate

- Certificate of Medical Fitness to be signed by a Registered Medical Practitioner in the format as given in Annexure – III in the Information Bulletin (Original).
- Undertaking regarding prohibition of ragging (Annexure VII)
- Transfer Certificate/School leaving Certificate/Migration Certificate (Original and two self-attested copies).
- Declaration/Undertaking for non-migration (inter-polytechnic/institute) after admission. (Annexure-V)
- Undertaking by the student for maintaining Discipline in the Institute during the course of study. (Annexure-XI)

- All the students shall be required to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner (Annexure- III) at the time of admission.
- All the candidates seeking admission under Person with Disabilities (PWD) quota are required to bring a certificate from Vocational Rehabilitation Centre (VRC) for Handicapped, 9-11 Vikas Marg, Karkardooma, Delhi-92, and for Dyslexia a certificate from Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Tahirpur Road, Dilshad Garden, Delhi-110095, only as to whether he/she is fit for undergoing the course applied for. No other certificate in this regard shall be entertained.
