ICAR IISR Ph.D Admission 2020 Online Form. ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research IISR invites online applications from eligible candidates  possessing minimum qualifications required for admission in Ph.D course .All eligible candidates,those who are interested to take admission in Ph.D in various field at ICAR IISR can apply here Online .

 Important Dates

 Eligibility Details-

The candidate should meet the following eligibility criteria for the ICAR IISR admission 2020 in Ph.D Course

Nationality-

candidate must be either-

1.  a citizen of India.
2.  a subject of Nepal
3.  a subject of Bhutan.
4.  a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
5.  a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
6. Foreign Students are also eligible for admission but under foreign quota seats.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates with a  Master’s degree in Microbiology/Botany/Zoology /Chemistry/Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University in India.

Fellowship Required-

The candidates should have preferably qualified in any one of the following National Entrance tests in the last 2 years from the last date of submission of online application form, leading to the award of a fellowship tenable at ICAR IISR.The fellowship must be valid till the time of joining .

• Joint CSIR-UGC NET for JRF
• ICMR – JRF
•  ICMR- SRF
•  DBT – JRF
• UGC-JRF
• UGC-SRF
• NBHM screening test
•  GATE 
• INSPIRE fellowship
•  GPAT 

The candidates with any one of the following fellowship will be called for an interview 

All candidates who do not possess any fellowship are not eligible for apply .Candidates qualifying in the interview will be shortlisted for Admission 2020.

Age Limit–as on 01/07/2020

• Minimum      : 18 Years
• Maximum     : 35 Years (for male candidates)
• Maximum     : 40 Years (for female candidates)
• As per the Govt. of India rule for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped candidates. upper age limit relaxable by 5 years.

Application Fee

• GEN/OBC/EWS                                                                        :  0/-
• SC / ST /EWS                                                                            :   0/-
• Pay the Examination Fee through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

Seat availability details  :

The total available  seats under different faculty is 09.The details of seats within respective faculty will be notified soon as the on the official website of  IISR.

About The Exam :

• Selection of Ph.D. scholars will be based on an Interview.
• Candidates with any one of the following fellowship or any other equivalent fellowship exam will be called for an interview before the selection committee which will be notified after deadline of application form.

During the Interview candidates will have to give a brief presentation (10-minutes) in the relevant field of specialization on any topic of interest of their choice.

The travelling allowance will not payable be  by ICAR-IISR. Therefore candidates will have to make their own arrangements for travel, stay, etc. at the examination centre.

At the time of Admission Bring the original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies of all the documents-

• On the Admission date bring duly filled-in Admission Form  and three recent passport size (5 cm x 4 cm) photographs.
• Arrange original documents and their self-attested photocopies in the following order:

1. ICAR-IISR Application 
2. Class 10th Certificate.
3. Educational Certificate/Degree and Mark-sheet.
4. Character Certificate from the Institute last attended (If available).
5. SC/ST Certificate (wherever applicable).
6. A person with Disability (PwD) Certificate .
7. OBC Certificate If applicable
8. Gap Year Undertaking (wherever applicable) .

How to Apply Online for ICAR IISR Ph.D Admission  2020

• ICAR IISR has released notification for Ph.D Admission 2020  Online Form .
• One can apply between 20/08/2020 to 30/09/2020 .
• Please read the notification before applying the ICAR IISR form .
• Then check the eligibility,documents required like  –
• Class X Certificate/Mark-sheet(DOB proof)
• Class XII Mark-sheet
• Class XII Certificate
• Graduation Mark-sheet
• Graduation Degree
• Masters Mark-sheet (If available)
• Masters Degree(If available)
• Go to the “Apply Online” link and register then fill  the application form.
• Print the application form on A4 size paper  and keep the same for future reference.
