Nursing eligibility Details-

The candidate should meet the following eligibility criteria for the admission in Institute of Medical Sciences   Course 2020-21

Nationality-

candidate must be either-

  1.  a citizen of India.

Educational BPT/BOT/B Pharma/Nursing Qualification in India

BSc Nursing

  • 10+2 /Intermediate/Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from recognized board / university in India  with 50% or more marks for general category ,in the aggregate of 4 subjects including English (Core/Elective), Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS the minimum percentage of marks required for eligibility is 40%.
  • For candidates belonging to PWD  the minimum percentage of marks required for eligibility is 45%
  • Only Female candidates are eligible for this course in BHU IMS.
  • Appearing student in 12th class exam are also eligible.

B.Pharma Ayurveda

  • 10+2 /Intermediate/Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from recognized board / university in India  with 50% or more marks for general category ,in the aggregate of 4 subjects including English (Core/Elective), Physics, Chemistry and Biology

Bachelors of Physiotherapy(BPT)

  • 10+2 /Intermediate/Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from recognized board / university in India  with 50% or more marks for general category ,in the aggregate of 4 subjects including English (Core/Elective), Physics, Chemistry and Biology

Bachelor of occupational therapy(BOT)

  • 10+2 /Intermediate/Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from recognized board / university in India  with 50% or more marks for general category ,in the aggregate of 4 subjects including English (Core/Elective), Physics, Chemistry and Biology

B.Sc. Nursing course duration

It extends over a period of four years with eight semesters inclusive of internship. The institute has planned curriculum to provide breadth of knowledge and skills in varied nursing situations to enable the young women to become professional nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care in various level of health care settings. At the time of  counselling Bring the following  Nursing documents required for admission and one set of self-attested photocopies of all the documents-

  • Arrange original documents and their self-attested photocopies in the following order:
  1. Application form filled online (hard copy).
  2. admit card.
  3. Secondary School Leaving Certificate (S.S.L.C), Matriculation certificate indicating Date of Birth or Birth Certificate, if not entered in the S.S.L.C.
  4. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) /Equivalent Examination, (Provisional Certificate if original certificate is not received so far).
  5. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) /Equivalent Examination Mark Sheet.
  6. A Certificate indicating passing of Hindi (minimum up to 8th Class).
  7. Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe/OBC/PWD/CW/EWS as per format/EWS Certificate from a competent authority, if applicable.
  8. Fee to be deposited as given  in the IMS-BHU bank account.
  9. Ten recent passport size colored photographs

  • One can apply between 10/09/2020 to 30/09/2020  .
  • Please read the notification before applying the  online form.
  • Then check the eligibility, documents required like  –
