NIOS Admissions 2020.The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) formerly known as National Open School (NOS).  nios h is providing a number of Vocational, Life Enrichment and community oriented courses .It also provides General and Academic Courses at Secondary and Senior Secondary level. All candidates,those who want to enrolled in nios h  in class 10th or 12th can apply  here online.Also they can check their nios h exam results 2020.

Eligibility-

  • For taking admission in the Class 10+2  course, the candidate must have passed the class 10th from a recognized Board.
  • A candidate giving a self-certificate “I have studied enough to be able to pursue secondary course” is also eligible for admission to the Class 10th

The Examination fee for ODES is as under :

  • Pay the Online fee through  Debit Card/Credit Card /Net Banking etc.
  • Also in addition to above Fee, Rs. 50/- will be added as cost of online Application Form for all Streams (Stream 1, 2, 3 and 4).
  • In case admission is done through Common Services Centres, fee could be paid via Electronic Wallet of CSCs.
  • NOTE: Kindly note that  No Bank Draft/Demand Draft/Cash/Cheque or any other mode of fee payment is available in nios .

Documents required-

  • Recent Passport size color Photograph
  • Signature ( in Black Ink)
  • Identity proof ( Aadhaar Card / Passport / Ration card  etc.)
  • Proof of Date of Birth ( Birth certificate/Aadhaar Card with date of birth printed /school marksheet)
  • Address proof ( Aadhaar Card/Water Bill/Electricity Bill/Voter ID/Ration Card/Indian Passport/Statement of Operational Bank Account/Appointment Letter from the Employer on Printed Letter Head, if living on rent then copy of any proof of permanent address along with present Rent Agreement etc. )
  • Class 8th marksheet (for class 10th) or class 10th marksheet (for class 10+2)
  • Caste certificate
  • Ex-serviceman certificate
  • Disability certificate
  • Fail Mark sheet of previous Board, otherwise  Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks will not be done.

About The Exam :

  • The Normal Examinations are held twice in a year in the months of April/May and October/November on the dates fixed by the NIOS.
  • For appearing in exam, the candidate must register by filling up the Examination form online and paying  exam fee.

 

  • (A) April/May Examination :
    For fresh / unsuccessful candidates of previous exams
     21st November to 20th December                       (Without late fee)
  • For candidates who have been unsuccessful in the preceding examination i.e. October Exams.
     1st December to 20th December                          (Without late fee)
  • For all candidates
    21st December to 31st December                         ( late fee of Rs. 100/- per subject)
     1st January to 10th January                                 (Total late fee of Rs. 1500/-)

 

  • (B) October/November Examination :
  • For fresh/ unsuccessful candidates of previous exams
     21st May to 20th June                                           (Without late fee)
  • For candidates who have been unsuccessful in the preceding examination i.e. April Exams.

On Demand Examination System (ODES)

  • Candidate can also appear in the examination through ODES as per his/her wish and preparation as
    and when he/she feels ready for the examination, depending upon availability of the seats in the Exam
    Centre.

NIOS Education Project for Indian Army (NEPIA)

  • NIOS has entered into an MoU with Army Educational Corps (AEC)  for NEPIA to upgrade the educational qualifications and Human Resource Quotient of Indian Army troops.
  • Armed people can complete their class 10th,class 10+2 through NIOS under this scheme.

 How to apply Online

  • Candidate Who want to Enrolled in nios h  Can  click on apply link.
  • Candidate can fill their personal details for registration.
  • A login id and password will be generated in the process ,candidate can re-login and fill the application form.
  • Kindly ready scan the required documents-like photograph,sign, etc.
  • Please upload the document and check the preview details before final submission.
  • After final submission pay the fee through debit/credit card/net banking.
  • Then take A Printout of application form of nios h registration.
  • You can print application form in colour / black & white  ,print at A4 size paper only.
