About Election Commission Of India:

It is an autonomous constitutional authority . It is responsible for administering election processes in India at national, state and district level. The body administers elections to the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, state Legislative Assemblies, state legislative Councils, and the offices of the President and Vice President of the country. Voting in India is done using Electronic voting machines or EVMs. There is also a provision for the Postal voting in India,as well as the special arrangements for the disabled voters.

• Any citizen who is resident of India or abroad but  nationality by birth or other means should be of India.

• Aadhaar Card
• Pension Card with Photo
• Passport.
• Arm’s license.
• Any photo identity card issued by a government body.
• Driving license.
• Ration Card
• Bank passbook with Photo
• Any other supported proof document.
• Electricity Bill
• Water Bill
• Phone Bill
• 10th school certificate or birth certificate.

Check Your Other details

• Check your electoral roll details.
• If you already have voter ID /enrolled then check your name in electoral roll or current status of your application form.

How to apply New Voter ID Card

• Click on the new voter Id Card Online Registration
• Enter your mobile no.
• Receive OTP and enter the same
• Fill your basic details
• Upload related documents
• Submit the application form.

Online Correction in voter ID

• If you already have a voter ID Card with wrong details then-
• Open correction link ,enter your mobile no.and get OTP  passed.
• See your details and if required change the same and
• Then submit the application form.
• Take the printout of finally submitted application form on A4 size paper.
• Keep the application form for future reference.
