Eligibility Details-

The candidate should meet the following eligibility criteria for Indian Army TGC Jobs :

Nationality.

A candidate must be unmarried male and must either be :

1.  A citizen of India, or
2.  subject of Bhutan, or
3.  subject of Nepal, or
4.  Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of
   permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above
   shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by Govt of India.

Certificate of eligibility will however not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal. A
candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be shortlisted provisionally subject to the necessary certificate being given to him by the Govt before declaration of result by SSB/joining training.

Educational Qualification

• Unmarried male Candidates  passing with BE/B.Tech degree in the Engineering streams.
• Candidates who  are in the final year of Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply. Candidate studying in the final year of Engg degree course should be able to submit proof of passing by 01 Jan 2021.

Age Limit-

• Minimum      : 20 Years  
• Maximum     : 27 Years

Vacancy details  :

There are total of 40 vacancies for Indian Army Technical Graduate Course (TGC)  posts in Indian Army that are provisional and can be changed depending on the training capacity at the Training Academy for this course. The vacancies are subject to increase/decrease keeping the organizational requirement at the point of time

Engineering Stream Wise TGC Vacancy Details

Type of Commission. On successful completion of TGC training cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt.

Cost of Training-The entire cost of TGC training at IMA is at Government expense.Rs.11952/- per week till 30 Sep 2020, thereafter a yearly escalation of 8% p.a will be calculated on the Per Capita cost of Training for each ensuing year.

Promotion Criteria and Salary Structure.

Allowances :

Uniform Allowance. Subsumed into the newly proposed Dress Allowance i.e. Rs. 20,000/- per year.

Free Rations.
(i) Continue in Field  Area to all Defence Officers.
(ii) Defence officers posted in peace area to get Ration Money Allce(RMA) every month.

Children Education Allowance. Rs. 2250/- per month per child for two eldest surviving only. CEA is admissible from Nursery to 12th Classes.

Hostel Subsidy. Rs. 6750/- per month per child for two eldest surviving only. Hostel subsidy is admissible from Nursery to 12th class

Leave. leave will be admissible in accordance with the rules in force from time to time.

About the TGC Training

Selected candidates will be  trained at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun according to their position in the final order of merit (engineering stream-wise)

Duration of training :  – 49 weeks TGC training. at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

• Candidates will neither be allowed to marry during the period of training nor he be allowed to live with parents/Guardians.
• Candidates must not marry until they complete the full training at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
• A candidate, if he marries while under training, shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the government.
• A candidate, who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful at the Service Selection Board interview and medical examination, will not be inducted for training, and his candidature will be cancelled.

Fixed Stipend for Cadet Training :

• The Stipend to Gentlemen Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service Academy i.e. during training period at IMA is Rs 56,100/- Per month (Starting pay in Level 10)
• On completion of  training, they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank.

About The Exam :

The selection procedure for TGC is as follows:-

• Shortlisting of Applications.based on cut off percentage applied as decided by HQ of MoD (Army)
• After shortlisting of candidates, the Centre allotment will be intimated to the candidate online.
• After allotment of Selection Centre, candidates will have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates on a first come first serve basis
• Only shortlisted eligible candidates depending on the cutoff percentage will undergo SSB at by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer

Two stage selection procedure

• Those who clear Stage I will go to Stage II.
• Those who fail in Stage I will be returned on the same day.
• Duration of SSB interview is five days and details of the same are available at the official website  www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
• This will be followed by a medical examination for the candidates who get recommended after Stage II.

Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be issued joining letter for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available

How to apply for Indian Army Techniclal Graduate Course(TGC) 132  Online

• Indian Army has released notification for Army Techniclal Graduate TGC Online Form 2020.
• One can apply between 28 /07/2020 to 26/08/2020.
• Please read the notification before applying the Indian Army TGC form .
• Then check the eligibility,documents required.
• Kindly ready scan documents like -Photo, Sign, Thumb etc.
• Before Final submission of Indian Army TGC form please preview and check your details.
• Take a printout of finally submitted Indian Army TGC application form on A4 size paper and keep the same for future reference.
• Candidates are required to print two copies of the application with Roll Number generated by the system.
• First copy of the print out application duly self attested by the candidate will be carried to the selection centre for the SSB interview along with following documents self attested photocopy and also original document
•  Class 10th certificate / mark sheet in original showing DOB.
• 12th Class Marksheet and Certificate or Equivalent Certificate.
• Engineering Degree/Provisional Degree issued by the university
• Mark sheets of all Semesters.
• Certificate issued by the Controller of Examination/Registrar of the concerned University regarding formula for conversion of CGPA/ Grades into marks followed by the University.
• Certificate from the Principal/ Head of the Institution stating that the candidate is in final year and his result will be declared by 1st of the month of commencement of course (for  final year appearing candidates).
• Declaration by the candidate of final year Engineering degree course that he will submit the proof of passing by 1st of the month of commencement of course to Directorate General of Recruiting, failing which his candidature will be cancelled.
• ID proof in original.
• 20 copies of self attested PP size photograph will also be carried along with the Application Form.
• The second copy  is to be retained by the candidate for his reference.
