CSIR NET/JRF Eligibility Details-

• B.Sc(Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-Ph.D.
• B.E/B.tech ,B.Pharma or integrated  course or MBBS students are also eligible for the Exam program or M.Sc. /Equivalent with 55% marks
• FOR GEN/OBC    :   55% marks
• For SC/ST/PH      :   50% marks

Age Limit as on 01/12/2020

• JRF(maximum)                :  28 years
• For NET/Lecturership    :  No limit

Application Fee

• GEN    :     1000/-
• OBC     :      500/-
• SC/ST  :     250/–
• Pay exam fee through Debit/Credit Card/Internet Banking or Offline challan etc.

CSIR conducts  the Joint CSIR-UGC Test  for determining the eligibility of Indian Nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and for determining eligibility for appointment as Lecturer (LS) in the areas of Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences. The award of Junior Research Fellowship to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding admission/placement in a University/ National laboratory/ Institution of higher learning and research, as applicable.
